I have a very exotic name as I am a very special cat. We Siamese are generally very sweet and talkative. I am both. I came to Catales in January of 2009 from a rescuer who did not have a good place for me to stay when I tested positive for Feline Leukemia. I very much enjoy the company of other cats and there weren't any other FeLV infected cats there for me to hang out with. As you probably know, FeLV attacks the immune system and can make a cat susceptible to diseases that its comprised immune system cannot fight off. So I need to be strictly an inside cat so I am not exposed to other health problems. And if you are wondering, the virus I have cannot be transmitted to humans but it can be passed on to other cats via saliva, mucus, urine, feces or blood. So as much as I need to be with other cats, it will have to be in a household where the any other cat there also have FeLV. All of that being said, the ladies at Catales think I am a wonderful "Meezer" and I deserve to have a home outside of the shelter room where I now live. I may have a very long life ahead of me so if you could possibly love me enough to deal with my special needs, please call Catales and come over to meet me.
