My name is Stoli. I am one of a breed of Russian cats called Peterbalds. i have a combination of a "brush" coat and a "velour" coat. The remainder of my life I will have a very soft peach fuzz instead of a thick coat like other cats. That makes me an especially good type of cat for someone who has allergies. Because of my lack of hair, I will need a bath periodically and some ear cleaning. My early life was very hard as I was left at a kill shelter where my foster mom thinks I may have been ill treated. It is possible that they thought I was old and had a skin disease because I look so different. I was very frightened when I was first rescued but I have turned into a sweetheart. My foster mother thinks I have a loving personality, quiet charm and great intelligence. I like, if not demand, attention and would prefer to live with someone who is home at least some of the time. I do not like being left alone for long periods of time. I love other cats and my ideal home would be one I can share with another non-dominant cat that will play nicely with me. I do not want to go with dogs or small children as I think that might scare me back into being the frightened kitten that I used to be.
